Garlic knots

Today's recipe is another TikTok recipe, this one is from @mxriyum.

I have never made any type of bread before, and I have heard so many stories of bread disasters I was a bit terrified to ever try baking some. However, when the video of amazing, looking garlic knots, I knew I had to try it. Personally, garlic bread is one of my favorite things to get at restaurants, so I figured if I was going to make bread, it might as well be garlic.

First I gathered all the ingredients. They are posted below, however, there are no words explaining how to make it, so the TikTok video is the only way to understand how to make it. To find the ingredient list more clearly, go to her Instagram: @mariyumskitchen, which also has the video posted on the second slide of the garlic knot post. So even though I found it on TikTok, I recommend going to her Instagram. Here is the link to go directly to that post.

Now to me actually making it…THEY WERE AMAZING. It took a little while to make but compared to the average time it takes to make other kinds of bread, it was a breeze. The only complication I had was my house being too cold to allow the bread to rise. After a bit of research, I found putting it in the oven at a very low temperature for 5 minutes made it rise like it was supposed to. The only thing I would make sure you keep in mind is to not mess with the dough to much when shaping it, she mentions this in the video, but I didn’t read it until after, though mine still tasted great, they probably would’ve been a bit less dense. I also added some everything bagel seasoning and I definitely recommend it. Here is how mine turned out (they tasted better than they looked):
